One Touch Ping Glusose Management System
| Includes both an insulin pump and a blood glucose meter that actually talk to each other, sharing critical dosing information wirelessly. Both meter and pump each have a complete set of functions. Insulin levels can be monitored and controlled either wirelessly by the remote meter(up to 10 feet away) or manually on the pump. The remote meter is capable of dosing the necessary bolus of insulin with its own bolus calculator and stores the nutritional value of 500 food items from the CalorieKing® food database for easy and accurate carb counting. The pump delivers the smallest basal increment(.025U/hr) available and a bolus rate as low as .05 U/hr for fine-tuned dosing to more precisely match patients needs. Automatically calculates a correction dose using the last reading and keeps track of bolus insulin that has been delivered and still active in the body preventing hypoglycemia. Waterproof, up to 12 feet for 24 hours with a flat panel colored screen for easy readability.Great for those on the go and very discreet. *Please note that the stock photo may differ from the actual product model listed above. |
